Saravanapandi has been at Bethany Home for one year. Saravana’s elder brother was at the Home until very recently but despite B. Joseph and his wife’s attempts to encourage him to continue studying, he left the Home in order to take on the role of breadwinner for his family (aged just 14 years old!). Saravanapandi’s father works as a guard. He has a history of drug use and is a bad influence on his children. His mother works as an agricultural labourer, earning very little. Saravana has two other sisters still living at home.

Saravanpandi is extremely affectionate and friendly. He loves to laugh and play games. He shows academic promise as he is a keen reader.
